Competitions
The club offers a number of ways for members to have their work evaluated. There are formal
competitions, judged by professionals, there are a monthly digital image competitions, judged
by club members, and there are ocassional critiques. These critiques offer an opportunity
for a discussion between a judge, the maker and attending club members. The critique takes
the form of a judged competition but no points are assigned and the maker may participate.
All club members are encouraged to participate in the competitions.
Points are assigned in the print competitions and in the monthly digital competitions.
These points are accumulated at year end to determine a Photographer of the Year award.
